Thanks Peter - I have pencilled this one into my diary, as it is really local to me! Hopefully I will have worked out the kinks with the fasty by then - if all is looking good then I will drop VWDood a message and register my interest.

Good stuff, I am also aiming to get there. I haven't long been back from holiday, so haven't investigated my hot start issue any further, but will be parked up for long enough that the car would have cooled off by the time I head back

What a great event that turned out to be! So good to see a strong turnout of Type 3’s, we counted 9 in total. Great to meet some club members there; I enjoyed the cars, the company and the overall vibe. Thanks to Lin and Larry for the enjoyable cruise to the event and to Peter for joining in the convoy on the return journey. It was such to be out driving with other Type 3’s and I hope we get the opportunity to do that again soon 8)

The picnic is on again this Sunday, 10th August
Unfortunately I only heard about it Yesterday & I'm back in the Forest of Dean this weekend, so won't be able to make it
It's in aid of St. Peters Hospice this year

Ill be at Silverstone for the Horsfall. Such is the way these days, theres more things to do in a weekend, than there is time in a weekend.

I was away (and still am), so I also missed out this year. Larry and Lin reminded me, but diaries didn’t line up this year. I was gutted to miss out as the last one was a highlight vw gathering for me. Hopefully next year!
