Very nice! How is the shift location or is it paddles?

finally back on the fastback, hopefully now on it until its done.
dug it out and straight on it. going to finish up the rear body mounts and then the body can come back off for final welding and sanding on the chassis.
more soon.

its been awhile and yes i am still on with the fassty build all be it much slower than i would like .
moved house a year ago so its been full bore into that and i am just having the garage extended so as soon as the fassty is painted it can come home to be built up. this i am hoping is the motivation i need to get on with the build.

bit more done, on with gapping all the panels.
started withe the passenger wing and door . set the door with a nice 4mm gap to the sill then welded the edge of the wing to get the same 4mm gap down the door front edge. after a bit of cutting and welding got the wing to sit right with the door and the scuttle panel under the window screen . wing fits front panel ok so its now on to the drivers front wing and door and then i can set the back wings in position.

in the last pic you can see just how long the front now looks .

top of the drivers wing done today but i still need to make sure door is in the correct position before i can finish the gaps as the other side.
been offered a 3.5 rover lump with fast road cam, big valve heads and a 4 barrel carb this week that is ready to go out of an early tvr at right money so would save me a fair lump over rebuilding the engine i all ready have.
