Very smart looking car, pleased to see another one on the UK roads! Youve done a great job of getting those wheels under there. It gives me hope for getting my 6in tyres under with out a horrible fight. IM generally not a modified sort so its all new to me.

Im in the middle of trying to sort out photo roating out. Hopefully ill sort it soon or you.
I ran 6" Porsche wheels on mine before swapping to short axles, as long as the offset is +45 and above you should be OK.

Thank you very much Broady! You shouldn’t struggle too much with the 6j’s .
That would be great if you could turn the pics the right way round, no idea why that happened 😂

Ill have to check what my offset is, but that seems to be my issue, they catch on the inner wing.

If they catch on the inside just use a spacer?

I feel ive opened a can of worms! I meant the inside of the rear wing.

My "it gives me hope" was just a cheerful passing comment. Im along way from having the time to fit the tyres to the rim and then the rim to the car to see where the actual problem is. Ill raise this again in my own thread when I get there.

In the mean time I'll stop hijacking your thread 😄

Done a couple of bits over the last week or so- Fitted up my new gold top air shocks. Very impressed with them up to now, but yet to drive on them properly. I also finally bit the bullet and attempted to change the ugly cal look windscreen seal for the proper polished trim type.
Only went and cracked the bloody Windscreen Whilst removing it didn’t I! Luckily it wasn't the original and I was able To source a really good genuine second hand one. Was a right ballache to fit the new seals and trim... but got there in the end! Well worth it in my opinion.

No trailer queen here Broady! I will say tho- I was glad I had fitted new wipers before the trip! Weather was atrocious all the way home! Took me ages to wash/dry it properly after getting home!

I have recently been filmed for a short series shown on welsh tv/youtube. Here’s a link to (my bit) if anyone is interested, chatting shit about what I like to do with the fastback etc. Programme is in Welsh but has English subtitles.

Ultimate dubs at the week end- not much has changed… managed to extend the bumper bracket holes , so now the front bumper sits closer to the body. A mate of mine machined some taller bbs rs hex caps for the rear wheels too.
