anyone using 36/40 PDSIT on their 412 question???

Post by aircoolsteve » 23rd February 2010 - 10:40pm

hi all. i'm in the throws of re-fitting my 1.7 but i cant remember what carb i use for the vac advance.
i'm using a pair of 36/40 PDSIT. both carbs have a take-off but one passes more air than the other when i connect a tube up and suck. (sorted this one! its the left carb for timing advance)

does anyone own a 412 thats running on these carbs? if you do can i have the jet settings for the main and air please?
they were fitted one year only on the 1.8. i've got an idea that the carbs i have came off one of those industrial 1.8 type4s that heritage were selling in 2008 so the jetting is a bit on the lean side.
if someone has a haynes manual it sometimes has the jet settingd in the info page in the carburation chapter. i don't think i can change the pump jet other than service the diaphram.
many thanks. steve
