Back on the subject of my smokey fastback. The smoke on start up seems to be getting worse and the colour of the smoke can be a bit greyish white with a dash of blue. If it was a watercooled car I would be thinking cyl head gasket. The smoke goes after a few minutes and the car runs really well.

Sounds like its a touch rich and then burning off some oil. What sort of milage are you at now? Its possible a carb is leaking down the intake when parked, if youve got a sticky float valve.
