Type 3 Fastback Heater Channel Question

Post by Type1234 » 5th July 2021 - 10:09pm

Does anyone have a picture or drawing of the heater flap hinge and a heater deflector assy which fits into the slot on top of a late Fastback?

Cheers
Don

That should read "that fits into the lot on the top of the heater channel"

If you scroll down from there, there are some photos of the flap.

That is really helpful. Is the flap for the side with the notch for the wiring loom the same as the other side? It also helps knowing other people have faced all the same problems I am having and came out the other side.

Not exactly sure what you mean, there is no notch in the flap. There is a step in the sill on the passenger side for the wiring loom. Then a cover plate installed over the loom so the outter profile is the same as teh drivers side which doesnt have a step.
