Quick shifter into Type4 !

Hi All,
Has anyone tried fitting a after market Beetle shifter ( Empi etc) into a type 412 .. do they fit/any good !

Hi all,
When i submit/send a pm it goes in my outbox !! There seems to be no way of forwarding from there.
This started last evening .. some get sent .. some go to outbox :? Any ideas.

Got ya .. at present i've got the long pipe that starts at the rear of the air intake body (goes under/to the right of the body) going to the cold start devise .. doh .. should that pipe go to the air filter/breather. Sorry for the gibberish .. again the manuals don't cover the later FI system. Many...

Hi guys, Recentley brought a 73' Fasty .. engine was out most of the fuel/crank breather & air pipes either missing or shot. Anyhow figered out where they all go bar one .. it's underneith the air intake body bout 10mm wide nozzel .. any idea where the pipe should go !. All the manuals cover the ear...
