Fuel Filler Neck Collar

Post by Busman73 » 19th April 2017 - 10:09am

I'm looking for a fuel filler neck collar for a 412 and stumble across these listed for Type 3 (see link)

Does anyone know if they fit a 412? I have no idea what is meant to go there as there is nothing left to compare it to

Thanks in advance

I believe those are made in the UK by Simon kelley ("Notch1500" on ebay)

I have fitted one to my 412 - not a perfect fit for the type 4, but better than the alternative (nothing) :)

Yes, it's a Type 4 number, but the support ring that holds it in place is a Type 3 part, so it can't be very different.

Looks like this would do, says it fits 411/412. Plus it's a reasonable price. Might order one myself.

I bought one of these from ISP West and I'm dissapointed in the quality of the rubber. In less than a year the rubber around the edge where the wire retaining ring seats is cracking quite badly. This doesn't get hot and no UV. The rubber needs to be more flexible I think
