Meet Babs

Post by BeeBabs » 23rd July 2010 - 9:31am

Hullo, I've been sent here by Paul. I have recently been bought a squareback. She's a 412ls and I'm her 2nd owner.
She has 6ok on the clock and is pretty original as she was sat for quite a while.

Here's my dog who only fits if he lays down

She's had a few more bits done, but has gone upto BJ with my oh for the weekend, and after that needs a new clutch and a bit of tuning before she is home for good. Hope you like her :D

Not sure, haven't been able to look at it properly yet as she is away because the clutch needs doing and a tune up with the carbs balancing.
Here's some more piccy's. There's a couple of little things have been done.

Is it a 'spot the difference game'??

If so I'll start with the fog lights and yellow inner spot lights!

Any more?

Pretty much, you missed one. Although I'm not sure it's staying anyways.

 they aren't mine. They will be exiting the car. The roof rack that's on there at the moment is the extra. It's a bunjee type one. Not sure if I like it or not at the mo.

I've got a BIG roof rack on mine and the stuff I've had tied to it at times is quite shocking and I wouldn't be without now!

See that one looks ok as it follows the lines of the car(perfect excuse to post a pic too btw). The one plonked on mine is a little shorty n kind of looks out of place.

Btw, I don't suppose anyone would hazard a guess to the shade of green my car is?

Moss green metallic. Code on here in the technical forums. L95C . There should be Y6 stamped across the end of a painted plate 3" x 1/2" on the front panel top under the bonnet. The other numbers let you work out the production date ( see www.hallvw.clara.co.uk/dating.htm).

Thanks Ed :D I'll be getting a rattle can or two made up to go round a couple of places that need it. It was the colour that just did it for me 8)
