My 'New to me' 1972 Square.
My 'New to me' 1972 Square.
Finally, after many many years looking for a nice, clean and tidy Squareback that is in a condition that can be used with minimal work, I feel my dreams have been answered.
Whilst looking over the last week on a well known social media platform, a beautiful restored Squareback appeared and better still, it was for sale.
I read the sellers advert over and over again in total disbelief at the detailed restoration the car had gone through over the last few years.
I began messaging and was greeted by prompt and detailed replies to all my questions.
Anyway, without too much hesitation I decided I had to have it and once again become the owner of a beautiful Squareback.
I'll post further pictures once I've got it home, hopefully on Friday eve!
Here's a quick picture of the beauty!

Re: My 'New to me' 1972 Square.
Oh yes, what a great looking car! The black details in place of chrome give it a unique character; much like the 'German Look' that became a popular style with late Beetles. I hope it turns out to be everything that you have hoped for and look forward to hearing more about it. Do you have to go far to collect and are you planning on driving it all the way back?

It's quite a distance so decided to have it delivered by someone who I know who takes pride in his work and takes great care of every vehicle he transports.
The attention to detail that's gone into the Square is unbelievable, here's a little taster of what it's like

Is that Gemma's old car Danny?
Re: My 'New to me' 1972 Square.
The guy I've purchased it from I believe has owned it for a few years during which time he has undertook the thorough and detailed restoration
