Lovely stuff, we arent even doing the driving and staying in the car thing. Should be brakedown or have an accident it would require someone else to come out to us. Low chance I know, but taking zero risk for the time being. Glad it started up well! I hope to get mine out next week for the weekly trip to the shops.

Nos boot lid is looking like a reasonably good fit!

No more wing evidence.

After all the handwringing to make the fender flare cuts, today it was fairly easy to change up the flares from just the rears to the full set.

Holes drilled and flares officially on.

Finally, it is a custom :)

I had to heat mold the flare to be able to add another rivet.

Been working on the pink car more and broke an exhaust stud. In this car, with the midengine, set up, it is a pain. To deal with. I was able to get the head off today and will send it off since my extractor (not an easy out), broke in the stud, in the head.
Hopefully I didn't waste the head

I decided it was time to port and polish these heads and match port the intake manifolds, so now I am down to a shortblock. Doh! But, it should pick up so HP.

Back up to a longblock, but still need to install the rockers... then, setting the carbs back up.
Maybe, then, I will be able to fire this pig up again.

Middy exhaust back on... what a pain in the backside. Next are the carbs and fuel lines.

Finally, all 4 corners on the ground and rolled out. Still not sure if it needs to go lower.

The car should be lower all around, but the closest track's return road is terrible.

It's not very advanced though, there's loads of space in that yard :)

..... or is that the sellers yard ?

I used to have 11 type 3s on sight. I was down to 1 last week, for less than a week. This is my 1st sunroof notch out of the 8 I now have owned.

I think the disease was when you were down to one, and now the patient is making a recovery :)

Full resto ?

To what spec ?

Rockers are solid, as is everything under the fenders! The rear tray and firewall need help and the rear apron will require some serious bending.

factory sunroof notch looks like a good project - interesting approach to opening the glovebox :-)
