Probably shouldn't disclose, but you'd don't need to be a rocket scientist to guess if you've read and seen what I've done so far :unibrow: :unibrow: .

I did document every penny of the resto - and that was between £16-£17k in total. This includes the car price of £6500. Unfortunately I build cars with my heart and not my head and tend to buy the best parts and equipment. I recon if I did it again, I'd be able to do it for a just a few thousand I recon, knowing what I know now. And this doesn't even include a full exterior paint either :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

This latest 2020 winter project with air suspension and boot builds etc has cost me another £+5k or so. :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: Again, could have probably done the suspension cheaper, but got a pro to do it instead.

I'll not likely get even half of this back. As it stands though I'm unlikely to part with it for a few years if at all, it'll just become part of my car collection.
1971 VW Type 3 1600 TE Fastback. Body off Resto completed, now just bits and pieces and niff naff to do.
