VW TYPE 3 & 4 CLUB FORUM

Hi. This is my first post so be kind !
Here's my baby. I've had her for about 3 months,most of which she's been covered up.
She's off too Type 3 next months for the works, 4" narrowed beam and lowered all round,should be sweet when she's done,
Will post some picks when I get her back

Well, she's lovely now - already a head-turner, so why mess her about?

You can always improve things,its knowing when to stop, thats the key. She is lovely now but i think she'll be a stunner when she's finished.

very nice and seems a shame if you start putting a narrow beam and what not on it ,
they drive lovely as they are but hey it`s your car

You can modify/narrow a type 3 without cutting frame the frame head and messing too much with the car so it can always be returned to stock in future if desired.

Thats the plan. I have total respect for the car and its 44 years of history so anything thats done to it will be reversable if it needs to be.
I just have to have my vw's on the floor !
