Goodbye to my 4-door

Post by Dave Summers » 5th June 2013 - 12:01am

The remains of my grey 4-door 411 went to the scrappy today, not that there was much left of it for him - a bare shell minus the gaping rust holes and some cuts I had taken off it. Quite a lot of the parts including the complete engine will be kept for my blue 2-door, but anything surplus is for sale.

Wow! I took a few photos before it went away but I never expected to see it on ebay!! I wonder what they think they'll sell? The space where the footwell used to be? The roof is OK I suppose - anyone want one? Doors are all rotten in case you're wondering.

Looking for the two central fixing bolts that hold the black plastic covers to the rear of the front headlamps.

It's a J-reg 411. I rescued it from being broken quite a few years ago and it's been awaiting restoration ever since. I'll get there sometime!
