Post by BeeBabs » 15th February 2011 - 7:08pm

So in the event I may of done this, where would I start to find some of those teeny clips that hold it on please

Word of warning when removing the old ones and fitting the new ones go steady and be gentle because when you push the centre spiggot in to lock or release them there is potential to dent the panels on a type4 as they are not as strong as Beetles due to the swage line. Also ensure the little gromets are present on your new ones as these help prevent water ingress.

Glad ya sorted and good luck with em.

Cheers Mart :D

And a tiny dollop/smidge of something extra gives you peace of mind about water ingress, whether it be seam sealer, hylomar or even silicon bathroom sealant
