Does anyone......

Have a factory fitted fog lamp switch in their type 4? Did they come with one at all? Was there an aftermarket one?
What are all the blanks in the dash for?

The red pull switch next to the headlight switch is my rear fog light and the black one under it is for my front fogs. This switch came as part of the Bosch fog light kit that I got cheap of ebay which had never been fitted complete with relay and wiring etc.

As for factory, don't know for sure, but you do see quite a few of the sales posters and literature with front fog lights fitted so I guess it was a factory/dealer option.

My fog light switch is a black one a lot like the headlight switch (it pulls out twice) but there are no fog lights to light up! I better remember to remove it before the next MOT or it may fail!

That red lamp looks like the trekker switches that have been selling on ebay recently.

My research has trumped up that the late bay windows had a switch fitted that is orange with a headlamp graffix on. I'd like to get hold of one of those at some point. Going to concentrate on getting heating and the hrw working 1st I think.

The little green light is to tell me that the lights are on, seems pointless to me but it was there when I bought it

 I notice that yr spacher switch is in a different place too. Mine is where yr fog light one is and I have a blanker where yr spacher is. Is this something that changed with the years?

Oh no :\ I hope it's not a case of mines' moved because there's something wrong and it's going to scupper my plans for a working spacher!

The Eber switch / timer should be the same as the photo on the left of the clock dial. As standard the " lights on " light should be in the clock dial along with highbeam, oil light, indicator etc...
