does anyone have an 'up close' shot of the 1/4 light windows at the front please? Think i've got a pair in my garage but not sure to be honest

Failing that i'll post a photo when i get my camera sorted tomorrow/over the weekend

Are we talking about 411/412 ? You're posting in the Type 4 Corner! Type 4 1/4 lights (small front door windows) are very rare - I think even Jane Terry has only seen one car with them - a German visitor.

Of course I may have remembered it wrong!

Basically i've had every other type of vw i can think of and never seen anything that i can think this glass would be from

it could be from a later water cooled model but again i wouldn't have a clue, will post a photo later this weekend so you can all laugh at me

Delicate look, raked back divider and a sharply raked screen, catch that fastens through glass - not a mainstreeam VW - Ghia maybe, Porsche Speedster? Nova? Austin-Healey Sprite?

They're too much of a mystery for me to comment further. If no go here, Practical Classics might help.
