Black lowered 411...

Post by MattKab » 18th December 2005 - 11:17am

Hello, my first post on this Forum!

Here's my '70 411 that I hope to have ready in the newyear.

I intend to get this beast to the shows next year, to park alongside my Beetle 8)

Is that an original black one? Quite unusual if so, I think.

Hi Andy, thanks for the nice comment.

The previous owner of my 411 cut the springs to 'slam' it. That is the only modification. Tyres are 185r65/15 on a 6" rim (possibly 5.5"). I'm looking to jack it back up with some different springs.

I see you've read some of what Ray Greenwood has to say about 411/412 suspension, there is a massive amount of really sound info' in Ray's head, take it as near gospel.

Maybe we could swap springs?
