T25/type 4 : same box?

Post by adi #2 » 16th October 2009 - 11:20am

I dont know T25s very well, but someone told me they use the type 4 gearbox, so a van box and say a 412 box is the same.

Does that mean you can fit a t25 sourced gearbox into a type 4?

No they are completely different.

Unfortunately the Type 4 gearbox is unique to them, shame really as it would have made a lot of peoples lives easier if they were!
