Post by dpetteng » 18th February 2011 - 6:43pm

Just started the stripdown of my 67 square project and can slide the front seats a fair way forways but then they stick on the tunnel runner and cant get tehm any further foward. Any tip on getting the seats out?

I think theres a tang you have to push down with a screwdriver..
otherwise have a helper in the front holding the lever whilst you sit in the back pushing with your feet

at the front of the rail, next to the tunnel, about 2"back from the front..back off the seat a teeny bit, push the tang down & hold it whilst you push the seat

Sounds loike you need an Owners handbook for your car - that's the sort of detail along with what fuses do what and how to open the boot on a Fastback that can save a lot of head-scratching for the new owner. There are some in Parts for Sale, or put a Wanted ad in.
Dave.

Thats a workshop manual! what you want aswell (as Dave pointed out) is the owners handbook, they contain loads of info that you dont seem to be able to find very easily else where, I would be lost without mine. :D
