123 ignition distributor question

Hi forum,

Does anyone have any experience, knowledge, advice on the suitability of the 123 ignition distributor on an early D-jet FI car with an auto gearbox?

I'd like to fit one of these, I have one on my 912 and it's been great and sorted so many issues I had previously.

I've sent an enquiry to 123 directly, but better to ask around amongst owners who may have the answer already.
