I've recently had my 1965 1500S engine reconditioned and refitted it with two reconditioned 32 PDSIT carbs and an electronic distributor.
Ever since I've got it back on the road it would stall from cold but was fine when warmed up and idled at more or less the correct speed so I put it down to choke adjustment and was 'going to get round to it'.
Now though it cuts out on deceleration warm or cold. If I approach a junction I have to heel and toe to keep it going.
Whats the most likely cause?
I did suspect the electromagnetic jets but they look new and surely wouldn't both pack in so soon and together?
Thanks.
BTW it did have a new tank a couple of thousand miles ago and is filtered so I don't think it would be dirt

Re: Type 3 Stalls When Slowing Down
Check the 12v supply to the cut off jets & that the jets themselves haven't unscrewed themselves.
Also check the connections on the balance pipe

Good call, I've checked the power supply and that the jets 'click' when power is supplied but not whether their secure on the carbs. I do suspect an air leak so will check the balance pipe. Thanks
