Type 4 bushes

Post by richtbiscuits » 8th July 2019 - 8:55pm

Any know if any of the bushes on the front suspension/steering of a 412 are common with any other models? Thank you.

Phone Jane and Bryan Terry on 01303840374 . They're the UK experts in Type 4s and will know all the wrinkles.

I'll give them a call. I just want dimensions or unused examples so I can see about getting some urethane ones made to order.

Have you read the many musings of Ray Greenwood over on the Samba regarding type 4 suspension. Well worth doing so before you do something that may accelerate wear elsewhere in the suspension.
