Tie Rod ends help...

Hi folks,

Am refurbishing my 1970's beam and want to replace the tie rod ends.

The Tech Web has this helpful diagram:

...that shows 3 different parts (8,8,9,10), but no part numbers.

ISP West has this great interactive diagram

...but this shows the pre-67 parts, lists 2 68-on part numbers (311415811C and 311415812C) but not where they fit. Also 2 part numbers is not the same as 3 part numbers

So stupid question - what part numbers do I need to be looking for?

So in other words, order Type 1 parts for the same year. The angled one is difficult to find, as it's bent in the opposite direction to the beetle part. Have a feel of yours for play & consider giving it new grease & new boot
