Fresh air control removal

Sorry for yet more newb questions but I cannot seem to find any info on removing the knobs from the fresh air control mechanism on the dash of my '68 notch..... I am fitting new seals to the air boxes but would like to get proper access and step one is air box controls and glove box, and I cannot figure out removing the air box controls at all
