calling anyone with a fastback that uses a car cover

Post by kinga » 25th July 2016 - 6:50pm

Hi all,

Struggling to get an outdoor car cover for my newly-acquired 68 fastback.

I purchased a stormforce 'tailored' outdoor cover, supposedly for a fastback which was way too tight - it didn't cover both bumpers at the same time & didn't cover both sills at the same time.

On googling the model they sent me, think it was for a Morgan or something?

Spoke to the company, and they sent me a bigger one which 'should fit' - it's massive, and has massive mirror pockets - on googling the one they sent me it looks like its for a Honda Civic?

So, although they advertise these as tailored covers, there are obviously not covers tailored to every car, but a few sizes, each one they hope will fit a variety of cars!

So, this one is going back as well & I am then stuck.

Just wondered if anyone could tell me what make/model they use & post a photo so I can see how it is supposed to look.

Many thanks.

Are these from coverzone? https://www.cover-zone.com/products/car ... stormforce

They do, do a tailor type 3 fasty one. I have one and its a perfect fit, I also have one for my porsche with mirror pockets that they fit into perfectly, I would keep pressing them for the right one. As I know it exists. I own one and its been great for 4ish years!

Any chance you could post a police and let me know which model number cover you have.
Mine is stormforce and does not fit.
Thanx.

Halfords heavy duty 'large' size fits my squareback nicely.

Does the job great.

Ended up getting a stormforce cover intended for a triumph 2000 i think. Fits fine but its quite baggy- not a bad thing as it lets lots of air circulate round the car whilst its covered.
Stormforce customer service was superb.
