Hi all, think I need to replace my fuel line.
Seems a bit skanky and fumy and Original.
Point me in the right direction regarding what I need please. Modern equivalent to take pressure of the F.I. system.
Whilst I'm here, got bit of oily residue on the fuel pump. Its not petrol but black oily stuff. Any thoughts on that?
Many thanks, Jon
Fuel line. 411 F.I.

If it's flexi fuel line, SAE J30 R9 is the most up to date, ethanol resistant. Machine 7 do a kit that should do the length of the car with clips and a inline plastic filter for £20, what I used on mine the other month to replace the old braided stuff.

Thanks Chino,
So do you think this the correct internal diameter as well?

Not sure what's on car until its off. I assume its the stuff I need.

I suspect it will be the 5.6mm stuff, that's what I used on mine. It should be a snug fit over the fittings on the tunnel/tank/pump etc.
This one, it's the diameter I used: http://www.machine7.com/product.php?xPr ... 3&xSec=344
check your fasteners also, you should use proper fuel hose clips as opposed to jubilee on fuel hose, as jubilees can oval out and not clamp properly: http://www.machine7.com/product.php?xPr ... 8&xSec=346

Anyone got any ideas regarding the oily residue on the fuel pump? Seems to be coming from the pump?
Thanks.
Thanks.
