68 trip speedo, or drive gear from one..

Hi all,
The trip speedo in my 68 fastback has stopped clocking up miles..the speedo works, but doesn't clock any miles up.
I understand that the nylon drive gear may have failed.
Does anyone have a fully working speedo, or just a good drive gear, if I can replace just that (although it doesn't look serviceable to me).
Don't suppose they are available new?
Any suggestions welcome!

well it lasted a few years! I remember stripping it down and cleaning it! still have the original non trip speedo too in my garage!

Sorry for the very late reply..had a new phone and couldn't get looged in!
Got it working Marko.. just took out the central drive spindle, roughed it up and put it back..and niw its fine again.
The speedo lives on.

What condition is that in & does it work? May need it for a spare lol! Not sure it will fit your 6 series!

I no longer have the 6 series, in fact I don't have a classic car at the moment

as far as I can remember it's in mint condition as I painted the silver part at the same time as doing the other 2 dials.. I think I just upgraded because I found the rare trip version. I'm sure it worked but would have to check to be sure, was a few years ago now!

May be asking you to sell me the spare speedo in the future if mine ever gives up lol.
