Another Sale weekend at the Elderly Gents House!

Not quite a "Virtual Skip",But pretty close!

The Dates have been set as the weeekend of 10th & 11th November,From 10am both days.

As well as all the (Now sorted) Boxes of parts,We are keen to see Parts going to good homes,so prices will be seriously reduced from the original advertised prices.

Parts we'd particularly like to see the back of include:4X type 3 Doors,3X Type 4 gearboxes,Type 34 decklids & doors,Type 4 parts,Wheels (wide 5),washer bottles,Type 3 rear wings(rough),Dynamo's,fuel tanks,fanhousings

Parts looking for a good home at Skip prices include Type 3 & Type 4 seats,Type 4 Dashboard..(Alternatively,Buy other parts & we'll just fill your car!)

4X swingaxle type 3 gearboxes,currently inaccessable due to the amount of other things in the way,will be dragged out & available.One is reserved for Larry.One for Paul Dickinson.

The "Scrap" heap has grown again,& you're welcome to go through it for treasures!

As always,No Traders,Ebayers or spivs Please!,,The aim is to get parts to where they're actually wanted,Not to line someone elses pockets

Latest News,is that the photo links are now all working!

Stereos & Lamps are to be included in the cull & can be demonstrated working.

Parts Books & NOS components/Panels...Dont expect much in the way of discount-I dont mind knocking the odd couple of quid off,but prices are more than fair to start with,& these items can be kept for future sale with relatively little effort.

Also available,though not listed,are a car roller & Clarke Engine Stand,but you'll need to talk to Darin on the day.

Guide price for Type 3 Swingaxle gearboxes has been set at £100. This is open to negotiation once we get them out & assess condition,But they're only available for Type 3 use..ie not for sale if you want them for other uses.-The aim has always been to put parts back into the Type 3 & 4 community.
Type 4 Gearboxes will be £25

A spectactularly bed day today means that although we'll be there tomorrow,any free time will be spent loading the van with fodder for weighing in/Taking to the tip on monday!
With the best will in the world,we cant keep everything forever,& its just a waste of Mine & Darins time,hanging around.
I will endeavour to plead the case for keeping type 3 panels & parts,but no promises,so if you want doors at £15each,come & get them.
Type 4 door,lights,seat,dash etc will be going

Bit of an update on the situation boys & girls...
We're going to do another sale weekend either 2nd w/e in feb,or 1st w/e in March.at the end of which We'll dump all the unsaleable stuff & select items to go to Stonor show( ie NOS & high value items).
A huge vanfull was weighed in this morning,so all the kg cuts,white square panels,brake drums,flywheels etc have gone.
Still there & desperately looking for good homes are a boxfull of type 4 tail/ind lights,2X 412 bonnets,pr seats(knackered but will be good for plastics/knobs etc) Dash,& 3 gearboxes,& 3 sets front pads,eberspacher,& lots of trim,& the yellow door I got at stonor!
Plus these damn 411 sills!
With the best will in the world,the family cant keep everything forever,& if nobody wants it,theres no point keeping it.
Goodies are still coming to light & these will get listed as & when,but I'm taking a step back after this weekend,so dont hold your breath for new listings
Thanks to those who came at the weekend...saturday was deathly quiet-only 3 people came,but sunday was a bit busier so we got rid of some big bits & 5 stereos.

Latest News from the Elderly Gents,is that we're going to do one more Sale weekend

Dates are set for the weekend of 23/24 February 2013, Times to be announced nearer the date.

Over the weekend,We'll be sorting/organising what's to go to Stonor show,& doing an upto date inventory.Anything else goes to the Tip/gets weighed in as scrap on the 25th
