I'm thinking about travelling the length of the country for the weekend. Is there much Type 4 stuff left? (I'll be interested in the sills.)

Theres 2 or 3 carfulls of type 4 stuff,..2 Bonnets, door, bumpers, engine parts,fi parts,Dash, sills, sill trim, washer bottles, gearboxes, air filters, filter elements, and more that I cant remember! It all depends how desperate you are for the bits, but you'd spend more on petrol than we'd take from you for the parts. But this is Last chance on Type 4 parts & most type 3 parts..Elderly Gents son is planning a trip to the local tip on the Monday morning with things that just aren't ever going to sell.

Still looking for a Tow Bar for a Type 3, which weekend will the event take place?

Also, a few tiny bits of trim if they are available, but I suspect I'll have to hunt these down elsewhere.

Ok,Boys & Girls..Times will be from 10am-5pm both days.

We've just had a mammoth session of extracting goodies/crap from the attic,including a total of 17 seats! (early type 3,early type 34,late type 3 & type 4 Fronts,plus both type 3 & 4 square rear seats,also 2 type 34 rear seats in Black)
Other treasures unearthed included a beautiful early rhd type 34 Dash, steering columns,3 & 34 early front bumpers,Type 3 late front bumper,2 type 3 rear wings,2x type 4 rear grille, type 3 grey bonnet matting, and LOTS more!

As much as poss needs to find good homes on sale weekend please!

Is there a front drivers side wing for a late fastback and a headlamp to go with it? Cheers.

Might be able to get up there on the Saturday Peter and I'll rescue anything Type 4 orientated rather than see it binned, I'll bring the van this time though as I'm in need of a pair of front leatherette style seats for the 412 and any interior trim for the 411. I'll pm you next week to confirm details Peter, thanks Shawn

I'm deffo going to be along Sunday. Will be in Barb if it's warm. Also, I don't suppose you know if there's a lot of steep hills from the south coast to Bath? Clutch is still slipping :unibrow: . In the bf's golf with a trailer if not :)

I am planning to go to the sale so if any club members living between Bath and Inverness who are unable to go in person could PM me with what you want, I will see what I can do for you. Please state parts, acceptable condition, maximum price and contact phone number. If I haven't enough space I will prioritise in some rational way e.g. difficulty of posting, distance from Bath.

Hi Peter

we'll be there Saturday. We'll be in the van. I'm sure all us type 4 owners can save the majority of the type 4 stuff.

If you dont have enough room for everything, I should be able to take some stuff back with me, I live about 10-15 mins from where your type 4 is parked :)

The one we pulled out last week,is rough but solid.
Theres too many other bits I've seen in this process to remember condition of other bumpers
I'd say all the bumpers still here are about the same condition

I'm still none the wiser where this Elderly Gents House actually is, I wouldn't mind a good look around, I've actually secured a tow bar now but there's still bits of trim, and of course I'm still on the look out for 3 point high back seats, even though I've sourced some low backs.
