Thanks for the warm welcome.
Can't remember the blokes name who i bought it off but i picked it up from Midhurst in West Sussex. It looks like it used to be orange by the paint in the engine bayEditor wrote:It's such a familiar car - only got a record of it in 1991 with Gary Dunn back then.
Was it John Beever's maybe?
Hi, it doesn't look too bad but there is a bit of welding to do.The previous owner started cutting the engine bay about to fit a van gearbox and a scooby lump. There maybe some issues behind the rear wings too but i'm a welder by trade so shouldn't be any dramas.unclemoom wrote:Hello, straight enough lookking car.
Hmm,well i must admit it's something i've considered.I've actually got a scooby lump and adapter plate in my garage which i bought to go in a kit car i'm building for my girlfriend, just so it would have decent heating.unclemoom wrote:What is it with people, volksagens and skooby motors?
I decided to stay aircooled in the end
