It's such a familiar car - only got a record of it in 1991 with Gary Dunn back then.
Was it John Beever's maybe?

Can't remember the blokes name who i bought it off but i picked it up from Midhurst in West Sussex. It looks like it used to be orange by the paint in the engine bay

Hi, it doesn't look too bad but there is a bit of welding to do.The previous owner started cutting the engine bay about to fit a van gearbox and a scooby lump. There maybe some issues behind the rear wings too but i'm a welder by trade so shouldn't be any dramas.

Hmm,well i must admit it's something i've considered.I've actually got a scooby lump and adapter plate in my garage which i bought to go in a kit car i'm building for my girlfriend, just so it would have decent heating.
I decided to stay aircooled in the end :D

Speaking for myself and maybe others too, what's a 'scooby' lump Obviously engine, obviously watercooled. Cockney rhyming slang Scooby-do = Subaru?
