Type 3 luxuries.

Post by kaddy » 21st June 2020 - 12:20pm

How many of you have splurged on type 3 expensive goodies??

Whats the most expensive item you have on your cars. My most recent was a set of Sprintstars
and tyres for 400 yo yo's.

I am contemplating a set of stainless steel bumpers, but not sure of the expense yet. And is
it too extravagent for a car thats not the main driver.

EMPI Coach steering wheel
Berg locking shifter
Porsche 944 staggered polished Teledials (to get the 8" rears to fit under the wings meant swapping to short axles with CSP disc conversion and rebuilt gearbox...)
2058 engine being built as we speak.

You have to be careful- Wives/partners might be watching this!
Not a lot that I'd admit to, other than the Chateau Mobile, a couple of garages & a modest collection of spares

My wife knows I don’t disclose the real value of anything I purchase to her, whether car parts, records, whiskys, etc.

I'm not quite that bad, I only have 29 of which 11 are unopened.
I'm invited to a Glenfarcas tasting on Zoom this evening.
