Just done the front of our 72 square 2notches dropped it 70mm. I think if u go more u have to chop the bumpstops n bracket off. My old notch was 3 splines, used kyb gr2 shoxs. Worked a treat,pretty much slammed

try getting an original part, repro parts aint always up to scratch.

do 3 point beetle seats fit in a late model type 3 (3 point fixing), or are the runners a different distance appart?

had the same prob in my beetle, one of the big ends had melted round the con rod and was causing the engine to overheat, not that this is happening to yours, just a warning, drain you oil, check for metalic bits, if the oil smells a bit like gearbox oil then its overheating.

just had a look at my square, carnt seem to see where everything should go, no straps or hooks!!! need pics.

are those earlier front indicators on the front? are they a straight replacement for late model ones?

any pics of the cover with straps, mine doesnt seem to have them?

from factory they should really be the same. but as dave says people replace worn drivers seats and usually put in what they can get hold of so not always a match.

72 squareback, 2 knobs on dash with arrows, i take it are for fresh air vents, do they just open and close each vent, or do they do something else?
