Does anyone have a knackered, scrap 412 balljoint they can send me ? I'm looking at manufacturing new ones and need to cut up one for reference etc. It needs to be a genuine or same as unit. try searching on US ebay, I got a pair last year on there from the States and the company have a few NOS sets they said they will sell every now and then...

mine sit on the shelf for the day I need them...

I dont think the engine revs should drop when you switch on the heater... the light on the dash knob will only come on when the heater flap is up / on.... But if you can hear the heater start then unless the safety switch has been been bypassed ( hopefully its hasn't been ! ) it points towards the f...

If you search on the Shoptalk forum you'll find you can use either L or K Jetronic ones on your D-Jetronic. They are slightly tighter but fit great and i've had no leaks since using them...

Autoglym sell a product to " clean and protect " rubber window seals. I've used it on my window rubbers and door seals and I'm assuming it's silicon based because it stops my doors freezing shut....

WD40 in the locks is a good trick also....

The Eber switch / timer should be the same as the photo on the left of the clock dial. As standard the " lights on " light should be in the clock dial along with highbeam, oil light, indicator etc...

...its worth the work...once you get it working you can toast bread by your feet as you drive ( not recommended ! )

all i have to do now is get mine to not blow a fuse at idle lol...

Hi there The wiring you see there in the photo is under the back seat on a Variant ( passenger side U.K ) and in the engine bay on a Saloon... The relay on the left ( silver one is for the rear screen demisiter ).That leaves two other fuses which both feed bits of the Eber. The fuse with green wires...
