As i say, the newness is still strong. So heres a few more pointless pictures. Was a gorgeous day sunday, she travelled 134 miles without a splutter. Eventually got a great deal on a set of brand new heat exchangers and a twin empi quiet pack (....for £75!!!!! :shock: ) i can say, if anyone wants to hear a gorgeouse note from the rear of a 412, which also looks good, this is THE exhaust in my opinion! Hi folks, Been browsing for a nice rear upgraded exhaust "header" with integrated tail pipe. Anybody got one, or could reccomend a good one to buy? Not fussed about the empi style one where you bolt up a bugpack etc, ideally looking for an all in one. Seen the stainless ones for £300+......i love em...

412 Fastback daily

Hi all, Just a few piccies of my 412. Done all the welding and repainted her in original colour. Only 21 and had beetles for the last 5 years. She's used daily and loved lots. Hi, many thanks for the info, the heater flap to the rear sounds the most probable cause to be honest, i bet thats whats failed. Its just when the flaps move i can here the air being restricted, and then when set open it sounds as if it should be coming thro.....but it doesnt. I am definately going ...
