hi gaz, yeah the loom worked spot on, the loom was one wire short but they used a common for the sides so it worked out fine.

check the side lights are wired correctly, mine wernt and instead of blowing a fuse completely melted the front loom.

a pair of notec blue nipple spots added but not wired yet. next job will be the back end down 1 click to level it out. although its running a bit rough at mo, need to sort some carbs first.

1972 square with 1600 twin carbs, idles low, stalls at junctions until warm. feels like a big flat spot when crusing along not at speed, checked timing all seems fine, holding at 3000 revs to check timing and right hand carb backfires (without air cleaner on). do i have a carb prob? done over 120k. ...

on further inspection it wasnt quite as solid as i had hoped but it was a good starting point, will be doing most work needed as a running resto until i decide to spray it up, when the body will come off the pan which will be in about a years time.

any bodyshop supplies should be abe to mix the paint to either a code or use a magic eye to read the paint and specially mix it. paint code if its original colour should be in the spare wheel well on the drivers side.
