When you say inbox, I assume you mean outbox. If thats true, then your message has sent. When the chap reads it, it will move to sent items. Ive no idea how/why. But thats how it works. So it sounds like youve sent it ok.

Re: Remove cylinder head with engine in car?

As peter said. I used to get mine out on a trolley jack. Which was on a sheet of ply wood. Roll the engine forwards on to the exchnagers and off the jack. Then roll the engine back on to the sheet of ply. Slide the engine out on the ply wood. Ive done plenty of engine removals and install on beetles...

Re: Pedal problems

Im not familar with LHD cars, but that looks non standard. When you say "goes towards brake pedal" what do you mean? Rolls to the left and intereacts with the brake pedal? The braket on the floor pan looks like its not wrapped tighly around the pin. How do you secure the push rod to the pedal? Heres...

Re: Early type 3 front bumper availability

New bumpers havent be avalible for a very long time. I think the best you can do, is regular polishing and a good sealing wax to stop the water getting in. Once the chrome/nickle has delaminated then water gets in a rusts the mild steel under neath.

The jobs keep coming here and there. We had a nice dry weekend just done so I went out for a 20 mile blast before i tucked up for winter. In the mean time I finally got around to fitting the jacking point blanks after a decent polish. https://am3pap007files.storage.live.com/y4mKIIX0YxUNEcBbKRgAv3DPh...
