I've had the leaky clutch master ever since i bought my 412, and today i finally got my hands on a NOS master repair kit. It's part no.411.698.181A does anyone know if the kit is for the clutch master or the brake master or both? I've tried looking the number up online but can't find any info. I can...

Re: Clock removal from a 412

Cheers...I won't have to remove the wood trim piece...i can redo it in place.

Clock removal from a 412

I want to sort out my faded wood finish on my 412 dash, but i don't want to remove the whole dash.
How do i get the clocks out. I can't get a good look up behind them to see how they are held in.

...there is a pot of gold In the 4 years i've owned my 412 i've heard many stories and legends about another 412 residing somewhere in the midlands, however the exact location was always vague, and many hours of driving down country lanes always lead to disappointment. A few weeks ago a friend rang ...

Re: 412LS manual gear linkage qestion

I read that thread before i posted, but the pic is a bit to blurred to make out how the wires are attached. I nearly have it back working but reverse is still to easy to find. when i adjust things so that reverse is like normal all the other gears become clunky again. I'm thinking rubex designed thi...

Re: 412LS manual gear linkage qestion

I did match up the rust stains when reinstalling the gate plate (is that what it's called?) I tried readjusting the plate today and things are a bit smoother now but i no longer have to push down on the stick to get reverse, so sometimes instead of second i get a nice grindy reverse :x can anyone ta...

One of the small bolts in the linkage jus...

Main beam gone (412ls)

the main beam on my headlights stopped working on my 412LS

the relay still clicks and the blue light comes on on the clock but the headlights do nothing. I checked all the wires, fuses and replaced the bulbs but still nothing. has anyone got a clue where i should check next :?
