Hi broady! It was at the Ultimate Dubs Show in Telford. Hey Rhysos, aye she has done me very well in the 5-6 years of me owning it. She is far from pristine… has a lot of paint wear and patina and dents and dings from over the years. She photographs well!! 😂 I drive her to shows all over the country...

Just to close this thread- I ended up fitting a petronix electronic dizzy , and it honestly has never ran better. Way better on fuel too ! Bonus!

Thanks Broady! I do indeed take the plate off for shows. The plate is secured via a couple of quick release brackets from evaresto. They clip onto the lower edge of the front bumper.

Also visited the cars and coffee at demon tweeks , where the old fasty received a lot of attention from a crowd that wouldn’t have otherwise come across one.

The old man just told me he has a couple of old dizzy’s on the shelf in the garage we can try , so shall have a go with them. Have also ordered a new electronic one to have a go with if all else fails. I’m in Tremadog North Wales Peter.

Any off the shelf dizzy’s that you would recommend? Is it worth while going electronic?
