Looks great Rich, fantastic to see it's being used regularly and that you're thrashing the nuts off it.
See you soon.
James.

Do we need passes in advance for this one, or just turn up and go to the club area?

Halfords heavy duty 'large' size fits my squareback nicely.
Does the job great.

Re: American Import??? help!!
But on the plus side import duty these days is only 5%. As long as you prove the car is old and original and you vouch to keep it that way or improve it.
Thoroughly recommend Kingstown shipping. They have done a good job for me and several people I know.

I'll tell the new owner, it's around a 5 and a half hour drive I'd say from his location, so doable

Off to California
Just thought I'd update here about my 64 Notchback, which I sold recently, as it is a well known car here. I advertised on The Samba and was overwhelmed with enquires from the States, mainly California, and that is where it now resides! Although I was sorry to see a very rare UK car leave these shor...

Dual cylinder master cylinder
I seem to a have a sticking problem with the cylinder on my 72 square.
Is my research correct in that there are no new RHD dual masters available? Is it worth trying to use a re-build kit, and if not, how hard are the pipe mods to fit a LHD one?
Cheers,
James.

Re: '67 Square
Aha, answered my own question I think. I've looked back at old pics in the thread and unless you've changed them the tyres on the steels were 165/65/15.
Sorted.

Re: '67 Square
Boring tyre question alert - can I ask what tyres you're running on those stock steels, and how many splines front / rear it's lowered?

James.

Re: 4 stud to 5/130 brake drums on a 1968 Squareback
Just take off the drums and go to a local machine shop, they should be able to tackle it no problem.
Shouldn't cost much either. It's been a few years since I've done so, but was not a problem. Straightforward machining stuff.

Any experience on the foam on top issue?
Do you just clean and lube the relief valves once apart?
Cheers,
James

Oil cooler queries
I have searched, but can't answer all my questions, so hope I can gather some more info please. Car is a late square - a 72 RHD low miles, believed to be original engine (number is correct age, mid 72 anyway). Car is unknown to me, no engine history, and it came with a big oil cooler leak, so first ...
